Sporting Success

A triumph for Our U18 Hockey Team in this week’s sporting news!

Congratulations to our U18 Hockey Team, who’ve had a fantastic start to the season to be crowned county champions this week. After beating Truro College and Callywith College early in the tournament the team played a strong Truro High team to draw 1-1 in the finals, meaning they won on points collected throughout the day. The team will now go on to compete in the regional finals and we look forward to sharing how they get on.

In other news, our tennis players have had some excellent results in the regional qualifiers with our U16 girls team progressing on to the regional finals having beaten Exmouth College.

Our swimmers have also been busy in the water, competing in the ESSA school relay qualifiers on Wednesday. 33 swimmers attended the event, all showing great determination throughout. There were lots of fantastic results, and for some, this was their first experience partaking in the event.

Finally, we had five Truro School girls competing in the South of England Road Relay Championships in Aldershot. It was a very competitive race with each competitor running a 3K distance in teams of 3. Well done, Girls!
