Tatler Schools Awards 2025 Finalist

Truro School is delighted to announce that the esteemed Tatler Schools Guide has revealed its shortlist for the Tatler Schools Awards 2025 and we are honoured to have our own Rob Morse nominated for the prestigious ‘Best Head of a Prep School’ award. This nomination places Rob among the UK’s most respected prep head teachers and educational leaders.

The ‘Best Head of a Prep School’ award is given to a prep head who ‘goes above and beyond,’ and we wholeheartedly agree with Rob’s nomination. His dedication and guidance have been instrumental in shaping our Prep School’s journey.

Expressing his pride in this recognition, Truro School Head, Mr Andy Johnson, stated, “We are all very proud that Rob has been nominated for Best Head of Prep. We are also not at all surprised! He is an incredibly caring and dedicated Head who has brought his very many years of experience of Prep Headship to our community with energy and impact. Truro School is on an exciting journey, having also recently won Talk Education’s national award for Performing and Creative Arts. It is fitting, and I am grateful, that an educator of Rob’s calibre is expertly guiding our Prep community as part of this journey. We, and the children who enjoy life and learning at Truro School Prep, are fortunate to have him as part of our team.”

In addition to Rob’s nomination, we are thrilled that our Prep School has received an invitation to be part of the Tatler Schools Guide. Often referred to as the Michelin Guide for educational institutions, this guide presents a carefully curated selection of the UK’s leading prep and public schools. Through in-depth conversations with heads, teachers, and students, and a review of over 2,500 questionnaires, the guide offers a thoughtful examination of the schools shaping education today—highlighting pioneering programs and inspiring leadership.
