Truro area cross country

On Thursday 30 January, Truro School Prep pupils attended the Truro Area Cross Country Event.

It was a hugely enjoyable and successful afternoon, featuring strong team performances and promising individual performances, with twenty children finishing in the top eight placings in their race and therefore qualifying for the next round, to be held on Tuesday 11 February 2020. We also saw our pupils place first in four out of six age groups: Sanna and James (Year 4), Lucy (Year 5) and Harriet (Year 6).

The next round is the selection event for the county finals – runners finishing in the top 15 there will represent the Peninsula area in the county cross country finals.
