This week in Pre-Prep has been crammed with all things Christmas. Nursery have immersed themselves in the festive season with a Christmas party day filled with Christmas crafting, baking, singing and even a treasure hunt. The children made reindeer food and a natural decoration using orange and bay leaves. The day ended with hot chocolate and gingerbread treats while the children snuggled in front of a Christmas movie.
Reception pupils have been busy making a festive Christmas Tree-Rex! After an amazing Christmas nativity performance, we have been talking about the real meaning of Christmas and how our play and the Christmas story were similar.
Year 1 have made decoupage Christmas tree and sparkly gingerbread decorations. In literacy, we wrote poems about a shipwrecked Pirate using adjectives to describe the adventures.
Year 2 received a very special letter this week, from the big man in red! The children were busy replying to him with some elf rules to ensure Christmas runs as smoothly as possible!
