Weekly News from Prep-Prep 22.11.24

Following on from a wonderful Nursery and Reception Open Morning on Saturday, we have had another busy week in Truro School Pre-Prep with learning and fun galore.

Alongside practice for their forthcoming Christmas performance, our Nursery children have been busy creating snowflake prints ready for the cold days ahead. They have also been learning about capacity and measuring, using vocabulary like full and empty.

Reception has also been learning their lines and rehearsing (tinsel at the ready) for the Christmas production. The children are excited to welcome their families to the performance, which will start 15 minutes earlier this year to include a special performance from our Truro School Prep choristers.

In Spanish, Reception pupils have been revising colour vocabulary by colouring in different animals.

Having had a fabulous time at the Princess and the Pea performance last week, our Year 1 children have tested out their Tudor ships in the Truro School Prep swimming pool. The good news is that they all floated!

In Year 2, rehearsals for the Christmas performance have been ramping up, whilst in literacy, the children have been creating their own Tinga Tinga Tales.
