Welcoming New Starters to Pre-Prep

We were delighted to welcome a new cohort of Nursery and Reception children to Truro School Pre-Prep today. Our new starters spent their first day settling in and getting to know the staff and each other.

Routines are important to early learning as they provide a firm foundation supporting development. Our pupils in Reception completed tasks including labelling their allocated pegs, learning where to wash their hands, and helping to tidy up.

In Nursery, our children familiarised themselves with the setting and made new friends, while others made fingerprint birthday cards that will be handed out across the coming year.

It was lovely to see all of our newest recruits taking on challenges with care and courage and we look forward to sharing more from them as the term progresses.
