Mrs Eva’s Year 3 English and Drama class have been looking at classic Victorian street scenes during their lessons and learning a child-friendly version of ‘A Christmas Carol’. With a focus on Ebeneezer Scrooge, the pupils have been acting out some of the story’s famous scenes in pairs.
With help from Senior School pupils Nova and Amaya, who are volunteering with the class as a part of their Silver Duke of Edinburgh scheme, children have been working hard to bring Scrooge to life, with particular attention paid to their dialogue, facial expressions and posture.
We would like to thank Mrs Eva, Nova and Amaya for delivering this experience and in supporting our Year 3 pupils to develop their acting skills and confidence.
