Shining Crowns to Celebrate Epiphany

Children at Truro School Pre-Prep were excited to be learning about L’Épiphanie, or Dia de los Reyes, during their language lessons today.

Three Kings Day, is celebrated on January 6th, exactly 12 days after December 25th, to mark the arrival of the Three Wise Men to visit Baby Jesus.

It is a special time in both France and Spain, where sweets are thrown, gifts are exchanged and delicious cakes (known as Roscon de Reyes in Spanish) are eaten.

It was clear that our mini Kings and Queens really enjoyed their lesson.
