1st Year Musical Gathering

Our 1st Year musicians gathered for their first big rehearsal of the year, playing “Jingle Bells.” Many of these musicians had never played before the start of this academic year and were enjoying their first group performance. Today, we had violinists, cellists, and a few of our more advanced brass players. Music lessons for all 1st Years take place three times a fortnight, providing a good introduction to an instrument of their choice or further development for existing musicians.

It was a joyous occasion, and wonderful to hear them all playing this familiar festive tune together.
