Truro School's Sixth Form is a strong community of students who are ready to learn, grow, develop and flourish together. The leading co-educational A-Level provider in Cornwall, we combine an excellent academic environment with small class sizes, extended learning opportunities, academic extensions, weekly clinics, personal mentor and supra-curricular activities.
Our innovative Sixth Form Diploma offers a guided framework of exciting opportunities within supra-curricular, personal growth and leadership and service, built around our core A-Level offering.
Our next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, 5.00 pm – 8.00 pm.
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet our Head and Sixth Form Team and learn about life in the Sixth Form at Truro School. You will also have the opportunity to explore our facilities, including our Sixth Form Centre and Café and discover our Sixth Form Diploma.
The aim of the Truro School Sixth Form is to provide students with a balanced and varied education; one that combines a strong academic environment with a caring environment underpinned by a strong support network.
To truly help you be the best that you can be, and to fully prepare you for life after A-Levels, our Sixth Form Diploma focuses on character development outside of the classroom too.
Every student who passes through our Sixth Form leaves a mark on our community and it is through these additional programmes and the constant buzz of events and activities that our students really develop an identity and skillset to prepare them for the challenges of adult life.
Our school motto, Esse Quam Videri (to be, rather than to seem to be), captures the essence of our identity and is defined by the 5 C's below. Underpinned by strong Christian principles, we are a caring and inclusive community which values, nurtures and develops each individual.
